Notes kept while working, published because the same questions come up with every new second shooter.

This is not a portfolio and there is nothing for sale here. The pages exist because wedding photography is mostly taught through imitation, and the useful parts — scouting for the bad case, protecting the gap after the ceremony, culling hard — are rarely written down anywhere.
Opinions here are shaped by a particular kind of work: small weddings, available light, documentary more than editorial. A photographer working at scale with a lighting team would reasonably disagree with half of it.
Nothing is sponsored and no equipment is recommended, because the gear question is the least interesting one in the whole craft.
The notes get revised when something goes wrong, which is why several pages contradict what they said a year ago. Anything here stated with confidence has usually been learned by doing it badly first.
